people often ask me what djs i like listening to… mixmaster morris is one of them… i didn’t know i saw him back in my rave days, until about a year ago… i saw the flier for a party i was at and he was the headliner… i remember my friend dennis bringing a case of glow sticks from the army reserves(he was a supply dude)… during mmm’s set we started cutting open the glow sticks and raining “non-toxic” glow juice everywhere! the lighting dudes turned down all the lights so it was truly magical! i also remember a giant video screen there, that was able to be seen through both sides and they had visuals of dolphins jumping though clouds and shit like that!

funny how much impact that night had on my life…

anyway he is the tops when it comes to djing chillout and ambient and continues to inspire me! i also love the project he did with “biosphere” called “higher intelligence agency”.
